Tomorrow the sermon will address "Understanding Forgiveness" and compare the forgiveness God grants us with the forgiveness we give to others. Why is it so difficult for us to accept the forgiveness God gives? Could it be our perception of God's forgiveness is based on our own ability to forgive - even to forgive ourselves? We pray, "and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." What if He truly did forgive us in the same way we forgive others? I don't believe we want to go there, do we? What if we were to pattern our forgiveness after His forgiveness to us? That sounds like it would wonderful - how do we put that "divine like" forgiveness together in our lives?
I invite you to come to either morning service and let's take a look to scripture to see what the Word says about this Then come back Sunday evening at 6pm and join in our interactive study called "Going Deeper", where we discuss questions and concerns based on the morning message. this has proven to be great time of fellowship and discussion that is growing in attendance and participation. Bring your Bible and friend and come join us. We'd love to see you there.
