I've been "kinda" tracking how these daily readings are being received. There are a handful of you all that seem to be faithfully participating. I'd like to ask a favor of you.
Tomorrow's morning service may be a little different. First, I am going to step on everyone's toes and address a problem that all churches have - we don't sit together!! I plan on asking everyone to sit in a seat with someone on your right and on your left (unless you are on a row's end). I want us to "feel" the unity and enjoy worshiping together. I don't believe anyone reading this has (what I call) "season tickets" and always sits in the same seat, but it may be a little uncomfortable. Secondly, at the close of the service, I am going to ask everyone to hold the hand of the people on their right and left as we close in prayer. Another reason I want everyone sitting together.
Here's where I need your help.
Those of you who attend Big Hill, help me with this by smiling as you move to your "new home" for the morning. Those of you reading this who do not live close enough to come to service, please pray for us. I know it may sound strange, but some old dogs have trouble with new tricks.
Bring someone with you and come worship with us. We'd love to have you.
